Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Dynamic opportunity for experienced School Psychologists to support elementary students in a vibrant educational environment. This position is based in Vancouver, WA, where you will work directly with a diverse caseload of 445 students across two school buildings. Your role will focus on providing essential psychological services and interventions to students, ensuring their academic and emotional well-being during the school year.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state license or certification in School Psychology
- Experience working in elementary schools preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to supporting student success and mental health
Location:Vancouver, WA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Provide direct counseling services to students and support their emotional needs
- Consult with educators and staff on mental health strategies and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
- Address crisis situations and provide intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided

This role is exclusively for in-person candidates covering leaves of absence within the district. With a schedule Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.
