Location: Houston, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 Contract
Pay Range: $49/hr - $56/hr

Blazer Jobs is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in Houston, TX for the 20252026 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in student learning and communication outcomes while working as part of a supportive school-based team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, youll provide both direct and consultative services to students with communication needs. Your work will help ensure that students gain access to the curriculum, improve their expressive and receptive language skills, and build confidence in their communication abilities. You will collaborate closely with teachers, families, and administrators to create tailored supports for student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and therapy plans

  • Provide therapy in individual and group settings for K12 students

  • Support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students

  • Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with Texas education standards

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Texas SLP license (or eligibility)

  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFs encouraged to apply

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills

  • Prior school-based experience preferred
