Job DescriptionRole Purpose
The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and accurate movement of materials throughout the yard and warehouse, supporting production flow and outbound logistics.
Core Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Retrieve and stage materials for production
- Move finished goods to outbound staging
- Double check BOL accuracy for delovered materials and shipped goods
- Perform quality inspections on delivered materials, report damage and BOL discrepancies
- Maintain yard organization and safety
- Perform heavy lifting (two-person lifts up to 50 lbs each)
- Pick materials according to released work orders
- Stage materials at designated production locations

- Production sequencing
- Picking decisions
- Inventory valuation
Required Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification
- Basic inventory and organization skills
- Ability to read material part numbers
- Physical capability for repetitive lifting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while assessing the top priorities
- Must be able to use and read a tape measure
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
· Pay rate (commensurate with experience): $24/hour - $30/hour
