Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manufacturing presses according to job specifications and production schedules.
- Perform tooling and die changes, adjustments, and alignments for new production runs.
- Monitor press operations to ensure efficient production, optimal performance, and product quality.
- Conduct in-process quality inspections, identify defects, and make necessary machine adjustments.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on press equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and other technical documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Document production activities, including output, downtime, and material usage.
Recommended Qualifications
- Experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, CNC).
- Strong mechanical aptitude for machine adjustment, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and machine guarding.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with preventative maintenance or minor machine repair.
- Forklift certification or experience with other material handling equipment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings.
- Experience with quality inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and/or Statistical Process Control (SPC).
