Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: Evening Shift
- Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Schedule: 5x8s (40 hours/week)
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Acute Care experience required
- Previous Travel Nursing experience required
- Experience working with behavioral health or psychiatric patients preferred
Required Certifications
- Massachusetts RN License
- BLS Certification
- CPI Blue Certification (required)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an acute care and behavioral health setting
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Utilize crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when needed
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to behavioral health protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Complete accurate documentation and patient records
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge needs
- Follow hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support a therapeutic and safe environment for patients and staff
