Harbor is seeking a Psychologist to join the Toledo team! This individual would be responsible for diagnostic assessment, psychological testing/evaluation, formulation of client treatment plans, provision of ongoing therapy, and provision of clinical supervision.
Position is full-time, 40-hours per week.
Education/Experience/Other Requirements:
- PhD. or Psy.D. in Psychology
- Current license to practice psychology in the state of Ohio required
- Experience completing psychological testing/evaluation required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license required
- Must be proficient and accurate in computer use, including Microsoft Word
- CPR/First Aid and NCI/CPI Certifications required within 90 days of employment required
Essential Job Competencies/Primary Duties:
- Demonstrates competency in the evaluation of individuals through the administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological testing measures, including those that assess intellectual functioning, adaptive functioning, and behavior.
- Demonstrates skills in the development of treatment plans for treatment of a variety of populations.
- Demonstrates skills in provision of individual and/or group therapy through utilization of best practice theoretical approaches.
- Creates psychological testing evaluation reports, progress notes, and other clinical documentation in the format appropriate and acceptable to Harbor.
- Demonstrates an ability to consult effectively with other agencies, schools, the public, and other professionals as required.
- Completes necessary paperwork in a timely fashion.
- In providing billable services, fulfills or exceeds unit expectations established by Harbor.
- Provides crisis intervention as required.
- When applicable, must supervise the work of Psychology Assistants according to licensure limitations.
- Keeps current with trends and developments related to essential job competencies and demonstrates continued growth.
