Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepares ingredients (chopping, portioning, seasoning) and cooks orders using various equipment (grills, ovens, fryers) according to recipe standards.
- Station Management: Sets up, stocks, and breaks down assigned stations, including cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Quality & Safety: Ensures proper food temperatures, plating, garnishing, and portion control. Complies with all sanitation and health regulations.
- Teamwork: Communicates effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house to deliver food in a timely manner.
- Inventory: Monitors stock levels and assists with restocking or informing chefs about low items.
