Project Description
This position supports Revolutional's customer, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) where you will work on the enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program. Focusing on supporting initiatives that protect sensitive data across VA systems while enabling effective business operations.
The core challenge: protecting sensitive data across a complex enterprise environment while maintaining uninterrupted, mission‑critical operations.
Position Description
As a Business Analyst, you will help oversee various business and project management initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to achieve business objectives. The successful candidate will be key in driving operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Lead business and technical requirements gathering, validation, and prioritization
- Drive stakeholder alignment on requirements and deliverables
- Develop and maintain BA artifacts, including process models, use cases, and SOPs
- Align requirements with project plans and delivery
- Analyze DLP trends and risks; produce dashboards and reports for leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards and VA regulations
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements or automation
- Support change management activities
- Support DLP tool evaluations, testing, vendor reviews, and proof‑of‑concepts
Technical Environment
- Work Management Tools: Microsoft Planner; ServiceNow; Jira (as applicable)
- Business Systems: Enterprise systems supporting data protection initiatives
- Data & Reporting: Operational and compliance data; dashboards and management reporting
- Collaboration: Microsoft Office Suite and shared documentation tools
- Practices: Agile and hybrid delivery, requirements management, stakeholder collaboration
What You Bring (Requirements)
Baseline Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-6 years of Business Analysis experience
- Experience supporting requirements and work tracking activities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Technical Capabilities
- Experience with process modeling and data analysis
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience facilitating workshops and managing diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
