Director Business Development (Hybrid)
Stagedge is seeking a Director of Business Development to share the Stagedge story and vision built over 50 years, seeking out new business opportunities, expanding our market presence to drive growth.
The Director of Business Development is responsible for developing a strategic plan in collaboration with SVP and aligning with our marketing initiatives to target the right clients based on our target accounts and buyer personas.
- Generate leads through various strategies including engaging with ongoing networking opportunities, marketing and prospecting.
- Identify key conferences to attend to increase awareness with key buyers.
- Build relationships with potential clients.
- Identify and quality new business leads/opportunities resulting in a robust pipeline.
- Stay current on market and industry trends, competitors and emerging technologies to keep prospects informed and help sell the value of a high-level production, partnership and drive decision-making.
- Collaborate with SVP and Sr. Marketing Manager on overall marketing strategy and outsourced vendor opportunities to build Stagedge brand to create new opportunities.
- Track and update on activity and progress routinely.
- Travel is required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sales and marketing background. Sophisticated networking skills and proven success in identifying leads and driving growth. Ability to build strong and lasting relationships. Demonstrate strong communication skills, negotiation and problem-solving skills. A Strategic Thinker who anticipates challenges, understands the competition and brings ideas and recommendations to the team to ensure optimal support to achieve success.
