Referral Coordinators
Scottsdale, AZ
Our client is hiring NOW for Referral Coordinators this position is ON-SITE with office hours of Monday - Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) This is a long-term full time contract position with an hourly rate of pay of $23.00 an hour. ****This position is not REMOTE on location in the State of Arizona***
General Job Duties:
Primary point of contact for the transmission of information between providers, patients, specialists and the community referral organizations
Assist patients and families to navigate the referral process
Coordinate referrals for specialist consultations, diagnostic studies, and medical equipment orders by faxing medical records to support the need for the referral
Assist in contacting insurance companies for patients to obtain benefits and authorization
Point of contact for patients and specialists for any questions
General Job Requirements:
Must be trained with HIPAA regulations
High School Diploma or GED
Medical terminology experience
At least one (1) year of medical office experience (referral experience is highly desired)
Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program preferred
