Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years PACU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in ASU/PACU to take on a rewarding 13-week travel assignment. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, structured as four 9-hour daytime shifts, plus participation in a weekend call rotation. The position demands a nurse with solid clinical experience and certifications who can contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing care in the Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
  • Perform thorough pre-admission testing to ensure patient readiness for procedures
  • Monitor and manage post-operative patients in recovery, responding quickly to any complications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver seamless care throughout the surgical experience
  • Maintain accurate patient records and comply with timecard submission policies

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active RN license with a minimum of two years experience in ASU/PACU or Critical Care settings
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory
  • Proven expertise in pre-admission testing processes
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to manage weekend call rotations as part of the work schedule

Schedule:

  • 4 shifts per week, 9 hours each, daytime hours
  • Weekend call rotation required
