Occupational Therapist – Independent Contractor (Part-Time)
Potential Inc.'s Springtime School is a licensed private school serving elementary through high school students on the Autism spectrum. We are seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist (1099 contractor) to support students year-round as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
This contract role offers competitive pay, a manageable caseload, and the flexibility of independent contractor scheduling-all within a supportive school environment.
What You'll Do
- Integrate occupational therapy treatment into students' Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs • Develop, implement, and communicate individualized instructional and therapeutic plans • Collect measurable data, document progress, and identify any barriers to skill development • Collaborate closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Special Education Teachers, and School Paraprofessionals • Promote a culture of open communication, teamwork, and shared accountability for high-quality services
Who You Are
- Experienced in working with autistic children or students in special education settings • Knowledgeable about adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and functional skill development • Collaborative, communicative, and comfortable working within a multidisciplinary school environment • Skilled in integrating OT interventions into structured, evidence-based programming • Dedicated to supporting meaningful outcomes for students and aligned with Potential Inc.'s mission
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program • Passed the Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) licensure examination • Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license • Professional liability insurance (required for 1099 contractors) • Available to work in person at the Newtown, PA campus (flexible scheduling available)
