Job DescriptionAs an Assembler, you will perform a variety of tasks involved in assembling components and sub-assemblies, operating machinery (including heat/metal bonding processes), and completing inspections and testing. This role supports production goals by maintaining quality standards, following work instructions, and working safely and efficiently.Responsibilities

  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
  • Assemble product according to drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Work Instructions
  • Perform quality inspections, audits, and testing
  • Conduct and monitor machine operation (including equipment that conducts heat for metal bonding)
  • Read, interpret, and follow mechanical assembly drawings
  • Complete tool/finished goods calibration and related documentation
  • Pack finished products and process paperwork for shipping
  • Inspect and repair RMA (returned) products as needed
  • Maintain line efficiency and work pace according to operating standards
  • Assemble parts without creating defects, rejects, or poor-quality output
  • Follow all safety rules (including safe operation of air tools, brazing machines, and other equipment)
  • Report issues with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Group Lead/Production Supervisor
  • Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and support 5S practices
  • Cross-train in other areas as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Good manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (using proper lifting techniques) and maneuver up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to use hand tools/pneumatic tools and operate machines as needed
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow directions and stay focused on repetitive tasks
  • Ability to read and understand instructions in English
  • Ability to use measuring and testing equipment

Education
