Opportunity Overview:
- Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Location: Grand Rapids, MI
- Specialty: Neuro-Critical Care
Main Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with board-certified critical care specialists to spearhead the establishment of a neuro-critical care program aimed at addressing intricate neurological and neurosurgical issues.
- Transition the program from a consultative service to a fully operational, independent neuro-critical care unit.
- Assist in extending telehealth neuro-critical care services to satellite facilities across West Michigan.
- Engage in the neurology residency program as a faculty member and mentor.

Qualifications:
- Physicians: Must be board certified in neurology or neurosurgery and board certified/eligible in neuro-critical care. If eligible, certification must be obtained within two years of the start date, unless otherwise mandated by applicable medical staff bylaws.
- Possession of an active Michigan medical license (or the ability to secure one).
- DEA license required.
- BLS certification (must be maintained).
