Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An elementary school in Darlington, SC is seeking a General Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position is for a full-time, onsite role teaching 5th grade students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for instructing English Language Arts (ELA) and Social Studies (SS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans for 5th grade ELA and Social Studies classes
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning
- municate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification for General Education
- Strong knowledge of 5th grade ELA and Social Studies curricula
- Experience teaching elementary school students preferred
- Effective classroom management skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time (37.5 hours per week)
