Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school located in Wayne, MI, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the munication abilities and academic progress of students across all grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on prehensive evaluations and current best practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student munication goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation of services, progress reports, and pliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and review sessions.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working within a K-12 educational setting preferred.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Knowledge of multidisciplinary collaboration and special education processes.
