Job DescriptionThe Accounting Clerk provides essential support to the Accounting Manager by performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks to maintain accurate and compliant records. This role is responsible for preparing and reconciling financial data, generating reports, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. Key responsibilities include processing journal entries, maintaining fixed asset and prepaid expense schedules, reconciling general ledger accounts, and managing sales tax filings for multiple states. The Accounting Clerk also supports audit preparation, financial reporting, and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
