HIM Operations Supervisor (Remote)
Pride Health is hiring a HIM Operations Supervisor for one of its clients in Pennsylvania.
This is a 3-month contract with a possible extension, with competitive pay and benefits.
The position is mostly remote but may require being on-site to support the team or for mandatory on-site meetings.

Pay range: $35 - $40 an Hour on a W2
Location: Philadelphia, PA, 19104
Duration: 3 months of contract (Possibility of an extension)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 5x8 Hr

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HIM Operations Supervisor to oversee Health Information Management operations with a focus on patient identity management and chart correction workflows. This role will provide leadership to HIM analysts, ensure compliance with HIPAA and Cures Act regulations, and support daily HIM operational activities in a hybrid work environment.
Job Duties
- Supervise HIM operations related to patient identity, chart correction, and medical record integrity.
- Lead and support a team of HIM analysts.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and compliance standards.
- Manage workflow issues and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
- Support staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and operational reporting.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Cures Act, and organizational policies.
- Utilize Epic and related HIM systems to manage and resolve chart correction cases.
Education and Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of HIM experience.
- Minimum 2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong Epic proficiency, especially in patient identity and chart correction workflows.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rules and medical record management.
- Associate’s degree in Healthcare, IT, Business, or related field.
- RHIT or RHIA certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with OnBase.
- CHPS, CHDA, or Epic certification preferred.
- Additional leadership experience preferred.
