<h3>Job Description</h3>
A healthcare services organization in Virginia is actively seeking a new Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a promising opportunity with their growing team in Suffolk. Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Prepare and implement written plans of care for each resident</li>
<li>Prepare monthly progress reports relative to the Nursing Plans of Care and new needs as they are identified</li>
<li>Update monthly nursing reports for all consumers</li>
<li>Provide healthcare training to residents, staff, and/or families as necessary</li>
<li>Schedule, monitor, and ensure documentation of all medical services required by consumers</li>
<li>Supervise the implementation of policies and procedures concerning medication storage, handling, and administration</li>
<li>Review MARs and physicians orders weekly, to ensure proper administration by Residential Technicians</li>
<li>Participate as an active member of the Interdisciplinary Team</li>
<li>Perform other duties, as needed</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>1+ years of work experience </li>
<li>Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse program</li>
<li>VA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)</li>
</ul>
Desired Skills:
<ul>
<li>Experience with Psychiatric / Behavioral Healthcare Nursing</li>
<li>Experience working with the Developmentally Disabled population </li>
</ul>
