Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide age-specific, direct patient care to pediatric and adult populations
\n• Utilize the Nursing Process within the framework of Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care
\n• Follow Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care guidelines
\n• Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other levels of employees
\n• Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare provision
\n• Required certifications must be active prior to contract start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and de-escalation training
\n• If certifications are not current, must have booked course at time of Clinical Orientation
\n• Work in medical surgical stepdown unit caring for both pediatric and adult patients
\n• Provide comprehensive nursing care using evidence-based practices
