Job Description

Utah Housing Corporation is seeking an Administrative Services/Scanning Specialist to support our organization. This full-time, in-office position is based in West Valley City and follows a regular schedule of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The starting pay for this role is $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience.

The Administrative Services/Scanning Specialist is responsible for accurately scanning servicing documents into a document management system, ensuring all files are placed correctly and assigned to the appropriate loan records. The position also involves maintaining archived records and coordinating document retrieval and storage with the State Records Center.

In addition to scanning and records management, the Administrative Services/Scanning Specialist will administer the Access Perks employee discount program by managing employee access, sharing promotional materials, and tracking usage. You will assist with training and supporting temporary staff assigned to scanning and quality control projects and provide back-up coverage for the front desk and other administrative functions. Daily responsibilities also include performing quality control checks and handling confidential documents and special assignments as needed.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one to two years of experience in office work, including document scanning and quality control. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, as well as the ability to stay organized, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality. This position requires the ability to lift and using a dolly or cart to move boxes weighing up to 50 pound. Strong written communication skills for emails, procedures, and internal communication are essential. A valid Utah driver's license is also required, as occasional driving of a UHC vehicle is part of the role.

At Utah Housing Corporation, we are guided by our core values: integrity, respect, communication, teamwork and collaboration, and growth and development. These principles shape how we work with each other and with the communities we serve. We're looking for someone who reflects these values in their day-to-day approach and takes pride in contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Utah Housing Corporation offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes employer contributions to Utah Retirement Systems (URS), PEHP traditional health plans, as well as a high-deductible health plan that includes employer contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA). Additional benefits include dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts for medical and dependent care, group term life and accident insurance, and options for 401(k), 457, IRA, and Roth IRA plans. We also offer a supportive coaching work environment.

If you feel your background and experience align with this opportunity, we encourage you to apply using our mobile-friendly application. We look forward to learning more about you!
