Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric care, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position is based in Wilkes Barre, PA, and offers competitive hourly pay along with additional non-taxable stipends for housing and meals for candidates willing to temporarily relocate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students specific communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students progress.
  • Document therapy goals and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student performance and adjust therapy plans as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of language development and speech disorders across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs.
