Express Employment Professionals is looking for an Import-Export Clerk for the Otay Mesa area. The basic function of the Import-Export Clerk is to coordinate, call and process inbound shipments, follow up on all documentation and update reports related to inbounds.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Monitor daily entry reports and properly communicate any updates to customers.
- Monitors and follows up shipments, answer phone calls and emails.
- Follows compliance of laws and regulations pertaining to documentation process.
- Collaborates with shipping department for daily operational issues.
- Traces and tracks incoming shipments for manipulation requests.
- Supports and assist Licensed Customs Brokers with special projects as assigned.
What we look for:
- Strong Communication in English and in Spanish.
- Knowledge and ability to use common business software and equipment: ACE, Gmail, MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure, with independent and sound judgment.
PAY RATE: $18/hr.
