Actalent is hiring for a fulltime night (12am-8am) Blood Bank Technologist

Responsibilities
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on all specimens received in the laboratory for the assigned station.
- Have a thorough understanding of test principles and equipment functionality.
- Ensure proper storage of all specimens.
- Adhere to quality control policies to ensure reliable patient results.
- Recognize and verify critical or life-threatening results and report them to the appropriate clinician.
- Document all results accurately in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Shift: 12am-8am, M-F with alternating weekend. **Training is day shift for the first 1-2 months**
Pay Rate: $50-$60/hr + 10% differential (Depends on Experience level)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License.
- Knowledge of blood banking from clinicals or experience.
- Experience in using laboratory equipment and technology.

This is a Permanent position based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
