This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to provide support to K-12 students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. The role includes both resource and self-contained classroom settings, offering a diverse teaching experience within a dynamic educational environment. The position is contract-based for the 20252026 school year, with a start date of August 13, 2025, and an end date of May 22, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet students' unique needs.
- Deliver specialized instruction in resource and self-contained classroom settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Monitor and assess student development, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and communication with parents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Valid Missouri Special Education Certification is required.
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment.
Position Details:

- Contract Duration: August 13, 2025 May 22, 2026.
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week.
