**Maintain Base Access**

Job Summary

The Supply Technician will be responsible for monitoring stock, inventory, and ordering supplies.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Implements inventory control procedures, including organizing storage areas, labeling items, and ensuring proper rotation of stock.
  • Plans, organizes, and provides QC inspections for all assigned utilities/facilities/areas.
  • Maintains detailed records and documentation related to inventory control, including purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents.
  • Completes necessary inspection reports and documentation required to support findings.
  • Performs quality control checks on materials, storage areas, and shipments to ensure they are restocked, packed, and shipped correctly.
  • Generates reports on inventory, purchasing, and accounting activities.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to streamline supply chain operations.
  • Organizes all work assigned and completes accurately and on-time all work tickets and required paperwork.
  • Focuses on maintaining a quality-compliant workplace.
  • Presents a professional, positive, and helpful attitude at all times when interacting with customers, co-workers, and supervision.
  • Maintains effective communication with management, employees, and customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Safety Requirements

  • Complies with and actively participates in the GCR Occupational Safety & Health Program.
  • Perform all assigned work safely and reasonably to prevent injury and property/equipment damage.
  • Safely performs functions of the position including proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout, and wearing PPE as required.
  • Exemplifies a personal commitment to the Company/Project Safety Culture.
  • Monitor subordinate safety compliance.
  • Take appropriate corrective action when subordinates fail to comply with OSH policies.
  • Immediately report all occupational injuries, unsafe conditions, and/or property damage.
  • Use and enforce personal protective equipment.
  • Always wear a seatbelt while operating/riding in a vehicle during work activities.
  • Never use a phone without hands‑free capability while operating a vehicle.
  • Must not be unfit for work due to illegal drugs, prescribed medications, over‑the‑counter drugs, and/or alcohol.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain base access.
  • Submit to and successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, inventory control, and process improvement.
  • Rigorous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years of recent experience within the past five years in a supply/warehouse setting.

Preferred

  • Prior experience working on government contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • OSHA 10.
