Equipment Installer / Shop Technician

Job DescriptionAbout Our Company:AA Equipment Company, Inc. is a well-established company located in south Minneapolis specializing in commercial refrigeration equipment and store fixtures for the grocery, convenience, and liquor retail industries. We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a fulltime equipment installer and shop technician. Job Responsibilities:· Deliver and install commercial equipment and fixtures· Setup walk-in coolers/freezers· Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, installation manuals
· Assist in a shop environment helping to assemble and fabricate equipment · Maintain a neat and clean installation process· Maintain a professional and polite attitude · Safely operate various pieces of installation equipment and power tools Job Requirements and Qualifications:· Ability to lift and exert physical strength· Valid Driver’s License· Experience operating a forklift · Carpentry skills with proven experience· Attention to detail and quality· Ability to follow directions and work with others in a team environment· Knowledge and experience of electrical, plumbing, mechanical fields a plus· Experience working in the rigging, moving, delivery, or installation fields a plus Terms of employment:· Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Some overtime may occasionally be required.
