Ground Contractor operating in multiple states for over 20 years and still growing. We are seekingan Administrative Assistant to join our family working at our Corporate Office in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This key position will not only serve as the right hand to the President and CEO of the company, butalso assist the office lead in daily activities. In this role, you will drive employee engagement, create, send outcommunication, assist the office with various administrative duties including, but notlimited to, processing payroll, fielding questions, creating and analyzing monthly reports. This position will be part time and conducted during regular business hours. Coverage will be decided between employee and management/President/CEO.
The ideal candidate will radiate energy and genuine friendliness. 1-2 years of administrative and/ortrucking experience preferred, however willing to train the best person.

JOB DETAILS
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all employee recognition programs
and events, and integrated communication strategies to build employee morale,
productivity, retention, and policy compliance.
* Responsible for assisting in weekly payroll processing, paying close attention to detail of hours worked.
* Create, publish and distribute monthly newsletter. Develop articles that recognize
employees and keep them informed of upcoming events.
* Communicate essential information, initiatives, and deadlines to employees in a
variety of mediums such as print, email, and text messaging. Develop creative ways
to engage with the employees and communicate this information.
* Collaborate with all stakeholders, to include, regional managers, and employees to
assist with data entry, fuel card questions, assigning, updating, and maintaining
truck numbers, and payroll questions/corrections.
* Monitor and maintain driver files.
* Greet all guests at the front desk and answer switchboard.
* Stay abreast of trends, developments, and best practices in employee retention,
morale, recognition, productivity, and incentives.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1-3 years administrative experience
Superior organizational skills and motivated self-starter
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material and issues
Excellent writing and editing skills and most of all a Team Player Mindset
