We are a highly specialized dental practice consisting of 6 doctors (3 specialist and 3 general dentist). Summary
As a Dental Hygienist at LIC Dental Associates, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. This position is essential to our mission of delivering high-quality dental services while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
We are a very tech heavy office with multiple soft tissue / hard tissue lasers, optical scanners, cbct, digital intraoral / extraoral cameras. Our focus is comprehensive dentistry with an emphasis on periodontal health.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the management of patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively in communication with patients and staff.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- 3 years minimum experience required as a Dental Hygienist
- Familiar with digital dentistry including itero / trios scanners
- Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and HIPAA regulations.
- Experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to educate patients on oral health best practices clearly and compassionately.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
