Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Waynesboro, TN. This contract position spans the current school year and offers the chance to make a significant impact on students' communication skills and academic success through direct therapy, evaluations, and collaborative planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across grades K-12.
- Conduct assessments and testing to identify student needs.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to develop personalized student plans.
- Write comprehensive IEPs that align with student goals and compliance standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Tennessee State License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
- Ability to manage a school-based caseload, including therapy, assessments, and documentation.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
