Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and prevailing market rates
Location: Onsite – Washington, DC (DC Office of the Inspector General)
Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. citizen or have an active Green Card.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled project/engagement manager consultant to lead overall contract execution, including project governance, schedule management, risk oversight, and coordination with the District of Columbia Office of the Inspector General (OIG), to ensure all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and in full compliance with contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the OIG Contract Administrator
- Manage planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting for all contract activities
- Ensure delivery of all base year and option year deliverables
- Lead weekly status meetings and prepare progress briefings
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with subcontracting requirements
- Manage risks, issues, and change control
- Ensure adherence to NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP, and District security policies
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years managing cybersecurity or IT risk assessment projects
- Experience managing government or public-sector contracts
- Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary technical teams
Preferred Certifications:
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred, not required)
