Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on early childhood caseload in an elementary school setting. This contract role spans the current school year, running until May 29, 2026, and requires onsite work in the Kansas City, MO area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to a full caseload of 50-60 students.
- Conduct therapy sessions, focusing on early childhood needs.
- Collaborate with team members to support flexible caseload management.
- No evaluation duties; focus solely on delivering therapy.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working as an SLP in a school setting preferred.
- Strong skills in managing early childhood speech therapy caseloads.
- Ability to work onsite and commit to approximately 35 hours per week.
- Flexibility and willingness to support various SLP roles as needed within the district.
