Job Description

Aquent is seeking a Senior Content Operations Editor to support the transformation of a large-scale employment content portfolio for a global enterprise environment. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role centered on restructuring long-form content into reusable, metadata-rich components that support scalable, AI-enabled employee experiences.

This role is ideal for an editor with strong content operations and CMS experience who enjoys working directly in content systems, applying structure and taxonomy, and maintaining high editorial standards across complex content libraries.

What You’ll Do

  • Transform long-form, unstructured content into reusable, “headless” content components
  • Migrate content from Adobe Experience Manager into a new internal content platform
  • Apply metadata, taxonomy, and content models to improve discoverability and reuse
  • Identify opportunities to reduce duplication through structured content reuse
  • Create and update content within defined SLAs and delivery timelines
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and style compliance
  • Audit and monitor content quality across a global portfolio

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Hands-on experience working directly in a CMS (editing, structuring, tagging, publishing)
  • Professional experience with enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, WordPress)
  • Experience working with reusable or “headless” content structures
  • Content migration experience between CMS platforms
  • Strong editorial skills with advanced English proficiency (grammar, spelling, punctuation)
  • Ability to manage content workstreams and meet SLAs in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, or related field
  • Content operations experience supporting AI, automation, or search-driven use cases
  • Experience with information architecture, content models, and metadata frameworks
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content metrics
  • Experience supporting employee-facing, policy, or regulated content
  • Experience working with global or cross-functional teams

Additional Details

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
  • Location: Onsite in Bellevue, WA
  • Duration: 3 months (extension/conversion not guaranteed)

Why This Role

This is a great opportunity for a content operations editor who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, working at scale, and seeing their work directly impact how content is delivered and consumed across an organization—especially in AI-enabled environments.
