Your mission

Be the technical steward of our plant’s electrical infrastructure—strategize, design, analyze, and maintain the systems that keep production humming.

Key outcomes

  • Reliability: Build and refine preventive/predictive maintenance; write actionable work instructions; eliminate repeat failures through root-cause actions.
  • Project delivery: Scope and lead small construction and electrical installation projects; coordinate in-house electricians and contractors; manage budgets and appropriation requests.
  • Safety and compliance: Perform SKM short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash analyses; apply NEC and NFPA 70/70B/70E; maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and codes.
  • Optimization: Analyze data, drawings, and reports; design layouts and upgrades; plan infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Systems expertise: Own distribution from 25 kV to 208/120 V; support networking cabling (fiber/copper), fire alarm, security, and camera systems.

What you need to succeed

  • BS in Electrical Engineering (accredited).
  • 2+ years of facilities engineering experience within manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with CAD for design/document control.
  • Strong command of NEC; NFPA 70, 70B, 70E; and relevant standards/regulations.
  • U.S. citizenship (required by DoD) and the ability to obtain/maintain necessary DoD security clearances and approvals.

Salary: $76,200–$110,000 per year
