Position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting communication growth in a dynamic school-based contract role located near Saint Johns, Florida. As a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll work with a range of students (PreK-12) with mild to moderate needs across multiple school sites in an itinerant setting. This opportunity offers invaluable experience and mentorship as you begin your professional journey as an SLP.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP Licensure
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
- Commitment to working on-site (no remote or VOCO options)
- Availability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing procedures promptly
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students, ages PreK-12 (caseload subject to assignment)
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document student progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' academic and social success
- Serve multiple schools in an itinerant capacity as needed
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events
