Department: Special Education (SPED)
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 3:45 PM (30-minute lunch)
- Friday: 7:45 AM – 1:15 PM
- Total: ~37–37.5 hours/week
Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services within a Special Education setting. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Monitor and document student progress toward goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support teams
- Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), if applicable
- Adapt therapy techniques and materials based on student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Utilize assistive communication devices when needed
- Ensure compliance with education and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Arizona SLP license required
- CCC-SLP preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a school-based/special education environment
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
Preferred
- 1–2 years school or pediatric experience
- Experience with diverse learning needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance
