PURPOSE

The Manager of Sno Shoppe is a critical leader responsible for the strategic management and daily operations of our Sno Shoppe locations. This role ensures a premium guest experience through strong leadership, operational excellence, and an efficient service culture. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, the Manager of Sno Shoppe drives team performance, coordinates cross-functional efforts, and is accountable for financial performance, compliance, and guest satisfaction across two Sno Shoppe locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead operations by managing hiring, training, and performance of all Sno Shoppe Team Members. Foster a high-performing team culture through regular coaching, goal setting, and leadership development.
  • Guest Experience & Service Delivery: Cultivate a guest-centric atmosphere by ensuring exceptional service, addressing escalated concerns, and executing promotions and events to enhance the guest experience.
  • Operational Oversight & Cleanliness: Supervise daily operations, including cleanliness, service flow, and shift execution. Manage scheduling, inventory, and supply coordination to ensure operational efficiency and preparedness.
  • Ordering & Inventory Management: Oversee ordering processes, inventory management, and product selection to ensure optimal stock levels and product availability. Implement efficient processes for tracking and replenishing inventory.
  • Product Selection & Innovation: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to select high-quality products. Stay informed about market trends to recommend new offerings that attract customers and retain existing ones.
  • Financial Performance & Compliance: Oversee department financials, including labor, cost control, and revenue targets. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with culinary, marketing, and events teams to deliver cohesive service and programming. Serve as the primary liaison for Sno Shoppe locations, ensuring smooth coordination with all internal departments.
  • Staff Scheduling & Optimization: Create and manage staff schedules to optimize labor costs while ensuring adequate coverage during peak times at both Sno Shoppe locations.
  • Training & Development: Implement ongoing training programs to enhance skills, product knowledge, and service techniques within the Sno Shoppe teams.
  • Guest Feedback & Improvement: Analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Innovation & Trend Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings in the frozen dessert sector to recommend menu or service innovations.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Five (5) years of progressive experience in retail operations with at least two (2) years of experience leading others in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proven ability to lead in fast-paced environments while maintaining exceptional guest service standards.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledgeable in health, safety, and alcohol service regulations with a commitment to enforcing policies and ensuring team compliance.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Adept at working with culinary, marketing, and event teams to deliver cohesive programming and seamless guest experiences.
  • Promotions & Programming: Experienced in executing event-based service and cafe-related promotions to drive engagement and revenue.

PREFERRED

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree in hospitality management or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a casino and/or hotel.

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
