Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
As an assembler, you will support production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines by applying your job skills and following company policies and procedures. You will be acquiring a working knowledge of product flow and the impact of quality. You will work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. A working knowledge of production standards and goals is essential, and you may assist in cross-training focus factory members as instructed. You will receive general instructions for routine work and detailed instructions for new assignments, and you must operate within established policies and procedures, seeking approval for deviations.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at your workstation daily and start by reading instructions for the specific job.
- Perform in-house quality checks to ensure all parts are good, documenting any defects.
- Utilize basic hand tools such as flat head screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and Phillips screwdrivers.
- Operate in a clean and temperature-controlled environment with the flexibility to sit or stand, depending on the job requirements.
- Engage in training to understand the functions of each job, which can vary from 1-20 functions depending on daily work instructions.
Essential Skills
- 6 months of manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in assembly using basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and write for production documentation.
- Familiarity with tools such as torque tools and assembly lines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined, preferably with experience in manufacturing.
- Experience from hands-on roles, such as positions in Jiffy Lube, is beneficial.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of the shift.
- Capability to frequently reach at waist level and occasionally above head.
- Ability to carry up to 10 lbs and lift up to 45 lbs.
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools.
- Ability to frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, and/or stoop.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
