Nuclear Medicine Technologist – $75–$80/Hour | Monday–Friday | New York, NY
Locations: Queens, NY and Manhattan, NY
Schedules Available: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $75–$80 per hour (W2, based on experience and certification)
About the Role:
We are actively seeking Nuclear Medicine Technologists to join our team at a leading medical facility in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity for a certified and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist looking to work with cutting-edge imaging technology and a collaborative care team.
This full-time contract role offers excellent pay, a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, and the chance to contribute to high-quality patient diagnostics in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment including gamma cameras, SPECT, and PET scanners
- Follow radiation safety protocols and ensure patient comfort and safety at all times
- Perform high-quality nuclear imaging studies and assist in image interpretation
- Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare teams
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology (required)
- 1+ year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (required)
- Current certification by the NMTCB OR ARRT (N, R, CT) (required)
