Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position offers an opportunity to support K-12 students through a maternity leave coverage contract, with a duration ending August 7, 2026. The role begins as soon as possible and includes a flexible schedule with the option for part-time consideration, providing 35 hours of weekly service in school settings.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across grades K-12.
- Provide support to itinerant students in the spring within the designated area.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Attend necessary meetings and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Pennsylvania state licensure for SLP services.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting supporting students with speech and language needs.
- Ability to complete and maintain Pennsylvania-required clearances.
- Reliable transportation to multiple school locations within the region.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills suitable for working with children, families, and educational teams.
