Job DescriptionBilling Clerk | Kansas City, MO LHH is partnering with a client that is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join the finance team. The Billing Clerk will be responsible for generating invoices, verifying billing data, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely and accurate billing processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue invoices for goods and services rendered.
  • Review and verify billing data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update customer account information.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Post payments and reconcile accounts as needed.
  • Generate reports related to billing activities.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a billing clerk or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Compensation: $20-27ph.
  • Job Type: Contract to Hire

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
