Position Summary: The Area Senior Manager of Sales provides leadership, strategic guidance, and support to achieve new sales and retention goals. This role involves supervising and collaborating with Area and Division Managers and Sales Staff to implement sales strategies, drive growth, and measure success regularly. The manager is responsible for sales-related activities, including large-scale contracts, to improve and maintain relationships and ensure organizational consistency in policies, programs, and systems. This role also requires active involvement in political, government, and industry associations, as well as community and civic activities
Principal Responsibilities:

Partner with Area, Division, and Corporate leadership to determine strategic objectives, including customer retention, prospecting, experience, and revenue management strategies

Work with Area and Division Managers to achieve new sales and retention goals and improve revenue quality in Environmental Services

Manage sales performance and customer interaction through a leading CRM tool

Develop and implement Environmental Services plans that meet short- and long-term strategic goals

Analyze and customize the sales force structure against defined sales opportunities

Synthesize sales department goals with company-wide goals and take proactive measures to improve performance

Monitor, gather data, and analyze the effectiveness of customer, sales, and marketing programs

Provide strategic vision and oversee the implementation of sales strategy to operational leadership and sales executives

Perform review and analysis of pre- and post-implementation operating data to support accurate pro forma models

Regularly review sales activity funnels and results to drive the organization toward budgeted expectations

Lead the sales team through the establishment and implementation of value selling and a standardized sales process

Partner with the communications team to determine appropriate media coverage
-
Foster an atmosphere conducive to professional development and career advancement

Lead the implementation of new sales programs and processes
-
Work with business unit teams to understand and implement key processes and identify and solve constraints
-
Oversee and participate in the RFP and Proposal Development process
-
Participate in contract negotiations as needed
-
Participate in cross-functional teams and manage the development of new projects
-
This position may require travel by air, car, and other modes of transportation up to 60% of the time

Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in a sales management role, including managing other sales personnel and developing comprehensive sales strategies

Experience using business and sales software (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Salesforce or other CRM tools)

Valid driver's license
-
Experience with a focus on sales, client relations, and business development, with expertise in exploration and production products and services, industrial services, and non-hazardous and hazardous waste services

Strong experience managing in a matrix environmental organization across a large geographic area

Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year
