Job Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. This role supports diagnostic imaging services during mid-shift hours and ensures accurate imaging, patient safety, and effective collaboration with the healthcare team.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Mid Shift

• Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts

• Time: 15:00 – 03:00

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols

• Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal image quality

• Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently

• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards

• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the imaging system

• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely diagnosis

• Ensure equipment readiness and report technical issues as needed

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

• Active state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (as applicable)

• ARRT certification in Radiography

• CT certification (ARRT) or eligibility preferred

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience

• Strong knowledge of CT procedures, protocols, and patient safety

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with CT imaging equipment and PACS systems

• Strong attention to detail and image quality standards

• Ability to work independently during off-hours

• Effective communication and patient care skills

• Adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
