We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Content Production Manager to lead our content workflow, oversee offshore editorial teams, and manage publication production from draft through final output.
Position Overview
The Content Production Manager will oversee the creation, editing, layout, and publishing of regulatory content across print and digital formats. This role manages contractors and offshore editorial staff, ensures quality control, and maintains production timelines.
This position requires strong editorial judgment, production workflow management, and hands-on experience with InDesign, PDFs, and basic HTML formatting.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Content & Editorial Management
- Oversee the editing and review of regulatory and training content
- Manage a team of offshore contractors and freelance editors
- Maintain editorial standards, formatting consistency, and quality control
- Coordinate review cycles and ensure on-time delivery
2. Production & Layout
- Prepare and manage documents using Adobe InDesign
- Format and finalize print-ready and digital PDF publications
- Maintain templates and layout consistency across product lines
- Coordinate revisions, version control, and file organization
3. Digital & Structured Content
- Apply and edit basic HTML for structured web content
- Assist in preparing content for CMS/web publishing
- Ensure consistency between print and digital formats
4. Workflow & Quality Control
- Track projects, deadlines, and contractor output
- Maintain documentation of processes and style standards
- Identify workflow improvements and efficiency gains
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years in content production, publishing, or editorial management
- Experience managing offshore or remote editorial teams
- Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign
- Experience preparing and editing PDFs for publication
- Working knowledge of basic HTML (formatting, tags, structure)
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
Preferred
- Experience working with regulatory, legal, or compliance content
- Familiarity with structured documents or technical publishing
- Experience managing contractors or vendor relationships

- PDF exports demonstrating production quality
2. Relevant content examples
- Editorial or structured content they have produced or managed
- Technical, regulatory, or compliance content preferred
3. Selected candidates will complete a brief production exercise, which may include:
- Formatting content in InDesign using a provided template
- Applying basic HTML structure to sample content
- Demonstrating editorial decision-making and layout consistency
