You’ll have a direct impact by assisting teachers during instruction, engaging students in small-group and one-on-one settings, and supporting learners’ academic and social-emotional growth. Your efforts will ensure smooth classroom operations and contribute to a positive, engaging learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Aid teachers with instructional activities, small-group assistance, and individualized student support.
- Student Assistance: Offer academic guidance, encourage positive behavior, and help students build essential social-emotional skills.
- Instructional Preparation: Organize classroom materials, prepare resources, and reinforce daily lesson plans.
- Supervision Duties: Oversee students during non-instructional times, including transitions, lunch, and recess.
- Collaboration: Partner with a multidisciplinary team to promote student success and a healthy learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of at least 48 college semester units OR an Associate’s degree (AA/AS)
- Ability to pass background and fingerprint clearance
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a student-centered approach
