Required Credential: AMFT/APCC/ACSW

Pay Range: $70 + p/h (sliding scale for larger groups/longer group lengths)
Employment Type: Per Diem
Schedule: Flexible dates/times
Starting Window: ASAP

Requirements: Must be licensed as an associate-level therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) with a valid searchable credential on the DCA website


Company Overview: We staff reputable addiction treatment facilities dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to individuals struggling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) challenges. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced facilitator to join our team.


Job Description: As a Substance Use Disorder/Mental Health Group Facilitator, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to our clients at various behavioral health facilities. Responsibilities include conducting individual and/or group counseling sessions, providing medication management support, and ensuring the well-being and progress of each client.


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate group counseling sessions for individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) challenges.
  • Document services in EMR within a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the treatment team for coordinated care.
  • Monitor clients' progress and report concerns to the clinical supervisor.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for clients.


Requirements:

  • At Minimum, the candidate must be registered with the BBS as an associate-level therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW)
  • Licensed therapists, such as LMFT or similar (LPCC or LCSW), are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong empathy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in addiction treatment and mental health services.
  • Familiarity with the KIPU EMR system is an advantage. (Kipu training available!)
  • Empathy and understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals.


Demographic of Clients: The facilitator will primarily work with individuals dealing with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) issues.
