Sr. Human Resources Business Partner
Job Description
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support people operations at two key manufacturing facilities—one in Ohio and one in Utah. Each HRBP will partner with site leadership and regional business offices to execute core HR strategies in organizational design, employee relations, recruitment, training, and talent development. This role reports to the Senior HR Manager for Integrated Supply Chain and plays a key role in driving workforce engagement and performance.
2 locations: Defiance County, Ohio & Utah County, Utah
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with site and corporate leaders to implement HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Provide HR leadership and day-to-day support to the Utah regional business office (UT-based role only).

Lead recruitment efforts: partner with talent acquisition for exempt roles and manage all hourly hiring.

Deliver new hire orientation and onboarding programs.

Handle employee relations matters, including investigations and corrective actions in coordination with legal.

Promote employee engagement, retention, and leadership development.

Manage compensation programs including job analysis, job descriptions, and salary administration.

Use data analytics to inform decisions related to hiring, retention, and workforce planning.

Assess and implement training and development initiatives to meet business needs.

Contribute to cross-site HR projects and continuous improvement efforts.

Drive the performance management and succession planning process.

Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience.
- HR certification preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR compliance standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with regular interaction on the production floor.
- Onsite work required at designated plant locations.
- Up to 25% travel (for Utah role between sites).
