Financial Analyst
Hybrid role based in La Plata, MD - Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Tuesday- Thursday in office)
Salary Range: $90,000–$100,000 annually
We are seeking a Financial Analyst who thrives on turning data into insights and insights into action. In this role, you will support financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making across fuel and convenience retail operations. As a key partner to leadership and cross-functional teams, you will provide financial insights that help drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning aligned with business strategy
- Build, maintain, and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis to support new initiatives and market expansion
- Conduct variance and trend analysis to identify performance drivers and improvement opportunities
- Partner with operations, marketing, and pricing teams to optimize margins and store-level profitability
- Support capital planning and investment analysis to ensure projects meet financial targets
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

3–5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst in a fast-paced environment

Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, macros)

Strong experience with Power BI and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail

Proactive mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Preferred (Nice to Have):

Experience with PDI, Vena, or similar financial planning tools

Background in fuel, convenience store, or retail industries
Compensation

Salary Range: $90,000–$100,000 annually
