A radiologic technologist position is available in a fast-paced hospital setting, specializing in diagnostic imaging services. This contract opportunity focuses on providing high-quality radiology support within a multi-building campus, aiding patient diagnosis through precise imaging techniques.
Location:
Situated in Kansas City, KS, the facility is a well-known urban hospital offering advanced medical services across four interconnected buildings. The location provides easy access to diverse patient populations and state-of-the-art imaging equipment, enhancing career growth and skill refinement.
Schedule:
- 10.5-hour evening shifts
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM
- No weekend or on-call duties required
- Holiday coverage as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Radiology Technologist in a high-acuity hospital environment
- Graduate of an accredited 2-year Radiology Technology program
- Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentials are mandatory
- Current ARRT certification and BLS certification required
- Proficient with computer systems for patient testing and quality monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing x-ray equipment across four attached buildings
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging
- Accurately document and retrieve patient data to support quality and performance standards
- Participate in an 8-hour non-billable orientation on-site during the first week
This contract role offers a competitive hourly rate and bi-weekly pay cycles. The facility enforces a nicotine-free environment promoting wellness. While there are no guaranteed overtime or weekend hours, this position provides a balanced schedule with impactful clinical experience.
