A growing veterinary organization is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Emergency Veterinarian to join its team. Responsibilities

Provide emergency and urgent medical care for companion animals presenting with illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions

Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and medical procedures to evaluate and stabilize patients

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and communicate recommendations to pet owners
-
Collaborate with veterinary technicians, support staff, and referral partners to ensure exceptional patient care

Monitor hospitalized patients and adjust treatment plans based on patient response and clinical findings

Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation

Educate and support pet owners during emergency situations with empathy and professionalism

Adhere to all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of veterinary medicine

Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school

Current veterinary license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure

Emergency or critical care experience preferred, but new graduates with a strong interest in emergency medicine are encouraged to apply

Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
